Because I am still organizing my blog and don’t have time to write an actual entry, I will use this one as  an introduction to my blog. Now I really don’t expect many people to read my fangirling and teen angst (I try my best not to be one of those “emo teens”, but I can’t really help it sometimes XD), but if by some chance you are reading this and are not already moving your mouse to close out of my page, you might as well get to know me đ

My name isn’t actually Amaya. Amaya means “night rain” in Japanese, and if I was a Japanese I would definitely want it to be my name.
I am probably one of the shortest kids in all of my High School, which doesn’t really bother me that much. Since I’ve always been the shortest in my grade, its easy for me to ignore all the height-based teasing. The one kind of teasing that DOES bother me, is about my weight. It doesn’t happen (to my face, at least) anymore, but I am a bit on the chubby side and I am pretty self conscious about it. Since all the girls in my school are tall and thin as a toothpick, I usually wear a sweatshirt or loose shirt to school to try and cover it the best I can.
I also love Asian stuff: I watch J and K-Dramas, Listen to J-Pop, J-Rock, recently I’ve been getting into K-Pop and K-Rock, I read loads of manga (which is how my obsession began), love japanese food, and of course I love (and want to learn) the Japanese language and culture itself. You will frequently find me fangirling about these things.
Sadly most of the kids in my school don’t share my obsession with Japanese stuff, and only a handful of my friends know about my love for it.

Favorite J-Pop Band?
= I am a HUGE JE fan (hot asain guys who can sing/dance/act ), so it would only make sense my favorite band is one. NEWS has always been my favorite JE band (MASSU PLEASE MARRY ME <3) since I am in love with all of them (yes, even Tegoshi XD), but I also really like Arashi, KAT TUN, and Hey! Say! Jump! (I usually just say HSJ because it’s easier that way) ^_^.
Girl artists? My favorites are Crystal Kay and Kana Nishino.
Favorite J-Rock?
= Hmm…Â Probably Scandal, L’Arc~en~Ciel, or ONE OK ROCK đ
Favorite K-Pop/Rock?
= BoA, 2NE1, B2ST, FT Island (Lee Hong Ki~~~), and SNSD.
Favorite Manga?
= Ahh thats a really hard one, but I guess it is a tie between Bleach/Gakuen Alice/Pandora Hearts.
Favorite Dramas?
= You’re Beautiful (my absolute favorite), Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango, Tokyo Dogs, and anything with Yamada Ryosuke or Seto Koji. (You can watch all of these at dramacrazy.net btw)
